Heroes of Might and Magic

Might & Magic Heroes, previously known as Heroes of Might and Magic, is a fun series of video games that was created by Jon Van Caneghem and his team at New World Computing. This game is an exciting part of the Might and Magic family, which changed hands a few times over the years. It started with New World Computing, then moved to 3DO when they bought the company, and finally found a home with Ubisoft after 3DO closed down. This series is filled with magical adventures where players can control powerful armies made up of fantastic creatures.

The first game in this epic series was released back in 1995, and it quickly won the hearts of gamers everywhere. This journey continued with the seventh game, Might & Magic Heroes VII, which came out on September 29, 2015. After the fourth game, Heroes of Might and Magic IV, New World Computing closed its doors, and since then, Ubisoft has been the proud owner of this awesome franchise.

After the ownership changed, Nival Interactive came along and developed Heroes of Might and Magic V, the first game of the series under Ubisoft. Following that, Black Hole Entertainment created the sixth game, Might & Magic Heroes VI. The fun didn’t stop there, as Limbic Entertainment jumped in to make additional patches and downloadable content for this game. They also worked on Might & Magic Heroes VII, bringing even more fun to this series! Additionally, Virtuos developed a special standalone expansion called Shades of Darkness for Heroes VI, opening up new adventures to explore.
